  • A.  We are the only major educational institution that is exclusively specialized in Sclerotherapy, and Sclerotherapy alone. All our efforts are concentrated exclusively to these procedures, giving us the opportunity to offer you the most refined and comprehensive learning experience possible.
  • Q.  Who can attend?
  • A.   Licensed Medical Doctors, Residency Students, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and International Doctors and Nurses.
  • Q.  Who teaches the course?
  • A.   All our courses are taught exclusively by our own in-house U.S. Licensed Doctors, whose sole practice is Sclerotherapy and Sclerotherapy alone. Best of all, this comprehensive course will also teach you what no other program or course does, which is: “What type of complications could you encounter during treatment”, “What to do”, and “How to do it”, so that you may have the best possible outcome. To complete this comprehensive and practical course, you will go into management and billing considerations that will help you to establish within your practice a Varicose Veins Specialization.
  • Q.  How long has Crown Medical been in Business?
  • A.   We bring to you our 30+ years of experience performing Sclerotherapy. Our institution has performed more Sclerotherapy procedures than any other in the USA. You will find “real hands-on” experience.
  • Q.  What does the course entail?
  • A.  This COMPREHENSIVE SCLEROTHERAPY Course & program was designed by a Committee of Doctors, Nurses, and Health Care Professionals that are exclusively dedicated to the treatment of Varicose Veins, and Varicose Veins only. This unsurpassed experience, gives way to a course content that is very practical and functional, like building blocks. This course has 7 basic components in a five day setting; it goes step by step, and follows a real life sequence of treating a patient with Varicose Veins. Instruction begins with a review of general venous anatomy and physiology, and the classification of Varicose Veins, and includes a thorough discussion of the pathophysiology of reflux and its relationship to the development of venous disease. It then addresses principles of conducting a thorough Phlebology examination. General principles of Sclerotherapy treatment are covered in detail including a discussion of sclerosing agents, treatment techniques and the management of complications. The participant will also learn about the latest changes in terms and conditions of coverage for Sclerotherapy, followed by a discussion of business aspects of a Phlebology practice.
  • Q.   Are the books included in the cost?
  • A.  Yes, comprehensive support material will accompany each lecture.
  • Q.   Will I get credit if I cannot attend the Conference?
  • A.  Yes, Credit will be given towards any other Crown Medical seminar or conference equal to the amount paid which must be used within a calendar year. Crown Medical Institute must be notified 72 hours in advance of any cancellation in order to be credited for any future program.
  • Q.  Can I pay the date of the event?
  • A.  Payment in full must have been received with at least fifteen days prior to the course. Your registration will not be valid and confirmed until your course fees have been received.
  • Q.  Will I get Continuing Medical Education Credits?
  • A.  Yes, depending on your State’s regulations they vary between 35 – 40 Category I credits. Crown Medical Institute will provide Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME) for each course through Joint Sponsorships with either the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Association (AMA), State Medical Associations, or the American Sclerotherapy Association (ASA), depending on location and amount of credits.
  • Q.  Are courses taught in a University accredited?
  • A.  Crown Medical Institute  courses are offered throughout the United States and abroad at different higher educational campuses and are accredited ONLY by those medical institutions mentioned above. We appreciate that each campus has had the opportunity to review our curriculum and we strongly adhere to their Rules & Regulations. A copy each campus Rules & Regulations will be included in our materials once registered.
  • Q.  Are Simulcast Courses accredited?
  • A.  There is no difference between our Simulcast and in-class courses. Number of credits depend on your State’s regulations; they vary between 35 – 40 Category I credits. Crown Medical Institute will provide Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME) for each course through Joint Sponsorships with either the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Association (AMA), State Medical Associations, or the American Sclerotherapy Association (ASA), depending on location and amount of credits.
  • Q.  How accurate is the Crown Medical Calculator?
  • A.  The Crown Medical Calculator is accurate and based on the Medicare CPT code in your area with the National average of 20 therapies per patient. Private or Insurance patient traditionally pay a higher premium. Just one patient will cover your expense of our course, that’s why we recommend the inclusion of a staff member to complete the course, which will assist you performing the treatment while you are continuing your regular practice.
  • Q.  Will you provide meals?
  • A.  Crown Medical will provide daily Continental Breakfast, afternoon snacks, and a graduation reception during the Diploma Ceremony.
  • Q.  Can I get a price break if I bring my staff?
  • A.  Prices and locations are negotiated for groups of 20 or more.
  • Q.  Can I get Support after successfully completing the course?
  • A.  Absolutely, you will get a free one year membership to the American Sclerotherapy Association and our Doctors are always glad to help our former students.
